We are currently only accepting merchandise orders through our website.


How can I find the status of my online order?
You can view the status of your order by logging in to your My Store Account. You may also view your order history on your My Store Account.


I made a mistake after placing an order; can I modify my order?
Please send an email to merchandise@publictheater.org. Someone from our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please note that if the order status is fulfilled we cannot make any changes.


I have a question about my order. How can I contact someone?
If you have a question about your order you may reach out to us by emailing merchandise@publictheater.org. Please include your order number, daytime phone number, and provide a brief explanation of the reason for your inquiry. Someone from our team will get back to you as soon as possible.


Can I gift wrap my purchase?
We unfortunately do not offer any gift wrapping options at this time.


Do Public Theater Supporters or Partners receive discounts on merchandise purchases?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer discounts to Public Theater Supporters and Partners at this time.


Can I purchase a gift card for Public Theater merchandise?
No; however, Gift Certificates for The Public Theater can be used to purchase tickets for almost all performances available at The Public Theater and Joe's Pub. Gift Certificates can also be used to join as a Supporter or Partner, or to make a contribution to The Public.


How do I purchase a Gift Certificate?
Gift Certificates can be purchased:

  • Online at The Public Theater website.
  • Over the phone though Audience Services at 212.967.7555
  • In-person at the Box Office by visiting The Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street, New York NY 10003



What are your shipping options and charges?
Shipping charges vary on a per-item and quantity basis. The final shipping cost for your order will be calculated during checkout. Please also note the following:

  • We currently only ship to addresses in the United States.
  • Please include your complete street mailing address and APO/FPO address.
  • We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes at this time.


How long will it take to receive my merchandise order?
Estimated shipping times are listed on each product. Our overage fulfillment takes two (2) to five (5) business days for all products.

We unfortunately do not currently offer expedited delivery options when placing your order.

Some of our products come individually packages to protect their shape and to provide extra durability during shipping. Some items from your order may be shipped separately.


Returns & Exchanges

What is your return and exchange policy?
Your satisfaction is our goal. Please inspect your order upon delivery; if you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may return merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase. Merchandise returns for credit or exchange must be unused and in saleable condition.

Please note that shipping and handling charges are not refundable.


How do I make a return or exchange?
To return or exchange merchandise, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us over email at merchandise@publictheater.org, including your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for your return/exchange. We will confirm receipt of your request via email and send you a return authorization.
  2. Pack and seal your return merchandise securely to prevent damage during shipment.
  3. Ship your package via UPS, FedEx, or USPS to the address below. We recommend you insure your package through your carrier. Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of shipping returned or exchanged items to The Public Theater Store.

Your return/exchange will be processed promptly upon arrival and we will send an email confirmation once it has been processed. Please allow two (2) to three (3) weeks for your account to the credited back to the original payment method used for your purchase.


Can merchandise purchased online be returned and/or exchanged at 425 Lafayette Street or at The Delacorte Theater?
No, unfortunately merchandise purchased online cannot be returned and/or exchanged in-person at 425 Lafayette Street, The Delacorte Theater, or at any other of our physical locations.


What should I do if an item I received arrives damaged?
If your merchandise order arrives damaged or is missing items, please contact us via email at merchandise@publictheater.org as soon as possible. Provide your Order Number, daytime phone number, a brief description of your situation, and (if applicable) a photo of the product that arrived damaged. We will contact you to discuss a resolution.
